Information and dates

Information brings together the details participants need. Available fields depend on your organization and the chosen template: a concert and a seminar can request different information.

You need access to the event. Changing its name and dates requires permission to manage its lifecycle; editing a field also depends on that field’s write rules.

Check the information

  1. Open the event, then Information.
  2. Check its name, date, venue when provided and designated leads.
  3. Complete editable fields, including required ones, and wait for the save confirmation.

A missing field is configured in the event’s Settings → Requested fields. To add a new kind of information to the organization’s catalog, see Event fields.

Change the name and dates

  1. Open Settings → General information.
  2. Check the Event name and Event dates.
  3. Enter the Reference time. For a multi-day event, enable The event is over several days and enter its end.
  4. Check the timezone displayed beside the input and the event’s Timezone, then Save.

The reference time anchors H0. The browser timezone shown in the form can differ from the event timezone: check the displayed time after saving, especially when preparing from another country.

During a live event, you can no longer move the start from this form. Use milestone shifting in the run sheet and review its consequences.

Before sharing

Read Information as a participant would. Then review run sheet times and checklist deadlines; changing the date does not replace that check.
